FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely processes for sintering agglomerate for blast furnace melting of cast iron.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of metering iron containing load of charge, solid fuel, fluxing additives, recovered material; mixing charge; separating mixed charge by two flows; separately lumping them; feeding them onto moving cars for sintering layer of agglomeration charge from one loading apparatus; then igniting charge and creating evacuation under sintering cars. Lumping is performed at humidity of charge in range 7.3 - 8.5 mass %. Difference of humidity values of charge flows is set no more than 0.5 mass %. Doze of iron ore concentrates in mixed charge consists of 75 - 98 % of iron-containing load of charge; doze of fluxes consists of 8.5 - 13.5 %; doze of recovered material - (28 - 47)%; doze of common solid fuel - (3.6 - 6.0)% of iron -containing load of charge.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of charge sintering process, lowered consumption of iron-containing raw material, solid fuel, improved mechanical properties of agglomerate.
