FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: disconnected fibers are advanced in continuous flow onto motionless fiber-collecting surface and put onto it. Then fibers are twisted into yarn by means of twisting tool which is disposed at some distance from fiber-collecting surface. After that fibers are passed through clamping unit of outlet pair of rollers and pressed in it. Then yarn is put away from twisting tool by means of pair of rollers and reeled upon the package. Fibers are gripped within the space between fiber-collecting surface and twisting tool by means of clamping unit for twisting fibers in the tool with some strength which is less than strength of gripping of the yarn in clamping unit of outlet pair of rollers. Then fibers are smoothed in clamping unit along the direction being opposite to direction of removal of yarn formed. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
