FIELD: mineral mining from sea bottom. SUBSTANCE: mounted on craft is atomic power plant thermal siphon. Thermal siphon is communicated with accumulating hopper of lifting pipeline and contains condenser and steam generator. Connected with thermal siphon through pipeline of feed distillate is condenser of sea water desalting unit. The latter is connected with steam generator and accumulating hopper. Sea water is desalted before its supply to thermal siphon steam generator. Desalted water is evaporated in thermal siphon steam generator. This provides for pressure differential between lower and upper sections of lifting pipeline and lifting of minerals of craft. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
