SHOT-GUN CARTRIDGE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: ammunition for fowling and sporting rifles. SUBSTANCE: shot-gun cartridge has case 1, igniter cap 2, powder charge 3, shot missile 4 placed into plastic container 5 and plastic obturator 6 facing powder charge 3 with convexity. Container has bottom 7 which cuts match cuts in side surface of container 5. Side walls of container 5 grow thicker towards powder charge 3. Obturator 6 is fabricated in the form of cylindrical sleeve with ring protrusion 8 on outer cylindrical surface linked up to convex bottom of obturator. Peripheral shots of shot missile 4 are implanted into inner surface of container 5. Bottom 7 of container 5 can be made separable in the form of gasket.
