FIELD: small-shot cartridges for smoothbore weapon. SUBSTANCE: small-shot cartridge uses metal case 1, primer 7, powder charge 6 and small-shot shell 3 fixed in case 1 by means of wad-obturator 4 and small-shot wad 2. Wad-obturator 4 is made with an internal taper cavity for shock-absorber 5 and from the outside it is made in the form of an inverted truncated cone, with the diameter of the larger base exceeding the diameter of the case duct; the walls of the wad-obturator are made flexible and furnished with stiffening ribs positioned on their internal surface.
