FIELD: medicine, particularly, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes measuring arterial pressure and rate of heart's beat prior to and at peak effect of nitrosorbide (АP and HBF2),, and determining sensitivity to nitrosorbide (NS) by the following equation: NS = (АP1-АP2)×(HBF1-HBF2) With NS > 70, sensitivity to nitrosorbide must be regarded as retained and whenever NS < 70, this sensitivity must be considered as lost. EFFECT: disclosed method allows promptly and reliably determining clinical effectiveness of intake of nitrosorbide by patients suffering from ischemia.
