FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: in the process of making articles with nonparallel edges a corrugated metal sheet is initially molded in rollers on a blank having the constant width. The width of the metal sheet unfolding changes according to the length, and the length of the chord against which the sheet leans in the cross-section is constant. Then the edge cutting off is exercised in the circular shears, the corrugated metal sheet is reformed into a plane receiving an article with nonparallel edges. When obtaining the profile with the wall width varying in length and with shelves, after the edge cutting off the shelves are turned in. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency when making articles with nonparallel edges, enhanced article quality and reduced labour intensity. 1 cl, 15 dwg
