FIELD: cutting sheet metal by strips having width variable along their length. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of providing at least two mutually parallel portions with lengthwise variable width for part to be made on constant-width blank; forming on each of said portions corrugations having development of cross section with lengthwise variable width increased in opposite directions for providing constant width of said portions for each part to be made; longitudinally separating said blanks at simultaneously trimming their peripheral and reshaping corrugation to plane for making parts with non-parallel edges turned by 180 degrees one relative to another in plane of blank. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 8 dwg
