FIELD: mining operations. SUBSTANCE: method for performance of drilling and blasting operations consists in that the blasthole charge contains liquid or paste reagent with detonation-free decomposition reaction which is initiated by primer or by introduction of catalyst. Used as reagents are thermally unstable fluids with decomposition heat-producing reaction, e.g., hydrogen peroxide or hydrazine. Pastes are formed by mixing theses fluids with finely divided powders. Charge of ignition substance serves as primer. Reaction intensity of decomposition, gas temperature and reaction energy effect are regulated by dilution of liquid reagent and reaction energy effect are regulated by dilution of liquid reagent with nonreacting fluid, e.g., with water.
