DEVICE FOR CLEANING PIPES FROM PARAFFIN-BITUMEN DEPOSITS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2109127 C1

FIELD: oil production and transportation industry. SUBSTANCE: introduced inside lift pipe or oil pipeline is heat generator operating on liquid reagent with exothermic reaction of decomposition for example concentrated hydrogen peroxide, ethylene oxide, hydrazine oxide. Liquid reagent is delivered into reactor for example by pump or by pressure of gaseous products of decomposition (self-charging). Reaction of decomposition of liquid reagent is initiated in reactor by catalyzer. Gaseous products of decomposition flowing out through nozzles of heat generator are used to heat and melt paraffin-bitumen deposits which then are solved in oil being pumped and discharged from pipeline. At lifting of heat generator from pipe taking place is mechanical cleaning by scrapers from residual deposits which are made softer at heating. Heat generator can be combined with facility for delivery of depressing reagents. This facility is brought into operation by pressure of gaseous products of decomposition of liquid reagent coming from heat generator. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
