FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has stator with an inner cylindrical chamber, output shaft mounted in the stator, two disks with a pair of pistons which are freely mounted on the shaft and positioned within the cylindric chamber for forming spaces of alternative volume between the pistons of different disks and surface of the cylindric chamber, mechanisms for coupling the disks with the shaft, mechanisms for locking the disks with respect to the stator, outlet and inlet ports made in the stator, and device for fuel supply coupled with the cylindric chamber. The locking mechanisms are provided with actuators. The number of the locking mechanisms is equal to the number of the disks. The engine is provided with gates, driving mechanisms arranged diametrically opposite in the cylindrical chamber and kinematically coupled with the gates for moving the gates, pickup of position of the piston, pickup of moment of moving the piston past the outlet port, and pickup of a moment of moving the piston past the outlet port coupled with the inlet of a control unit.
