FIELD: pump engineering. SUBSTANCE: working wheel and housing form front and rear slot seals and pockets. Blades mounted on the housing are received in one pocket. The pocket and blades, which are received in the pocket, are arranged at the radius which is grater than the radius of the rear slot seal. The slot seals is used as dynamic supports. The other pocket is in communication with the low-pressure zone through face clearance and passage. The blades break down the circulating flow arising owing to disk friction of fluid on outer surface of the driving disk and enhance static pressure in the pocket. Increasing of pressure drop at the slot seal results in increasing rigidity of the seal. As the result, the seal can be used as a support. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
