FIELD: pump engineering; water pumping in oil pools. SUBSTANCE: pump has housing, covers, inlet and outlet nozzles, and shaft that mounts triangular-shaped impeller between guide vanes and spacer disk. According to first alternative, impeller has tilted ducts in vicinity of blades; pump of second alternative has radial ducts providing communication between impeller gullets. Tilted ducts are arranged at acute angle to impeller shroud surface in direction of its rotation. Center line of radial ducts is convex in direction of impeller rotation. Liquid is forced out of gullet between impeller and guide vanes where pressure is higher to gullet between impeller and spacer disk over tilted or radial ducts causing pressure drop there with the result that axial forces applied to impeller are controlled.
