FIELD: drying of timber material. SUBSTANCE: method involves effectuating preheating of material without supplying fresh air and with feeding energy-carrier into air-heater; providing circulation of heated air in drying volume; effectuating drying in cycles by alternative feeding of fresh air into drying volume and of energy-carrier into air-heater, with circulation of heated air in drying volume being conducted under conditions of complete cutoff of supplying of fresh air into drying volume, of energy-carrier into air-heater and circulation of heated air in drying volume; holding timber material under ventilation mode without supply of fresh air into drying volume and of energy-carrier into air-heater.
