FIELD: control of electric and magnetic values. SUBSTANCE: source is formed by feeding channels connected in parallel between input and output wires. The first feeding channel has conversion cell, shunting transistor and decoupling diode. The second feeding channel has conversion cell, shunting transistor, decoupling diode, two comparators and switch. The rest of feeding channels have adder besides. To reproduce desired volt-ampere characteristics, M feeding channels should be used, moreover, the first feeding channel provides linear regulation of its output current. The second to M feeding channels provide discrete adjustment of their total output current. The rest (N-M) feeding channels are used as reserve ones. Switch is used for selection of basic or reserve mode of operation cells become disable, the corresponding number of feeding channels is brought in return for defective feeding channels. In order to exclude connection of reserve feeding channels in case of normal operation of basic ones, the comparators are adjoined for output according to OR gate circuit.
