FIELD: electronic equipment testing. SUBSTANCE: method involves scheduling of initial equipment tests (based, for example, on known full factorial experiment schedule) and conduction of tests according to this schedule; test results are used for building mathematical model and adequacy of the latter is estimated; if adequacy is normal, tests are ceased and model built is used for practical purposes; if it is insufficient, test schedule is expanded, combinations of factors are introduced in it proceeding from minimum correlation between factor levels in general schedule; tests are conducted in compliance with newly determined combination of factors; then new mathematical model is built and the process is resumed. EFFECT: smaller quantity of tests required for building adequate model; full compliance of factor levels with test equipment capabilities. 11 dwg
