SUBSTANCE: converter has difference amplifier 2, comparison unit 10, two generators 5, 14, digital-to-analog converter 3, digit coding successive approximation register 4, two counters 7 and 9, decoder 16, adder 22, "start" bus 6, end of coding bus 24, result bus 23, analog input signal bus 1, two registers 18 and 20, AND gate 13, shift register 15, trigger 12, former 17, four delay elements 8, 11, 19, 21. Input value is compared clock by clock with signal from digital-to-analog converter 3, and comparison unit 10 produces a set of values which specify process of forming of result in adder 22. Counters 7 and 9, decoder 16 and trigger 12 provide forming of necessary number of shifts corresponding to number of clock. Storage of intermediate and final results is carried out in registers 15, 18 and 20. EFFECT: improved precision; improved reliability of operation. 3 dwg
