FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes exposing retina to multiplicity of rotating point dazzling objects visualized in passing light produced by incandescent lamp, varying their spectra and brightness, and locally treating different retina portions. Apparatus includes reversible electric motor mounted on upright, illumination optical duct with eyepiece, illuminator, light filters, rotary holder positioned in between illuminator and eyepiece and carrying light-transparent film having coat of microscopic glass balls that perform function of point dazzling objects.
