FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves combined dehydrogenation of isoamylenes mixture with 15-80 mol.% butenes, preferably with 40-80 mol. % butenes, better with 50-70 mol.% butenes in the presence of oxygen and steam. Conditions: 260-649 C, 0.2-1.0 mole oxygen per 1 mole hydrogen evolving at oxidative dehydrogenation, 2-40 mole steam per 1 mole initial hydrocarbon mixture.
