FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing butadiene, comprising: passing a stream of a feedstock containing butanes and butenes to an oxidative dehydrogenation plant in order to generate an effluent stream comprising butanes, butenes and butadiene; and passing the effluent into the dehydrogenation plant in order to generate a process stream containing butadiene.
EFFECT: use of the disclosed method enables to obtain a product with high output.
