FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: new strain Brevibacterium sp.90 - a producer of lysine is obtained. Strain is able to accumulate the high level of the end product on molasses media with decreased concentration of growth factors. In the process of growing on the medium with molasses (PS - 12-13%) strain accumulates lysine at concentration up to 65 g/l for 72 h under condition of flask shaking, and up to 56 g/l for 60 h in industrial fermenters in the process without makeup. Sugar conversion is 45-49%. Strain does not require high concentration of growth factor (leucine) that allows to carry out the process on molasses without hydrolysate PVC usage. Strain shows decreased aeration requirement. EFFECT: increased yield of lysine. 2 tbl
