FIELD: processing zinc precipitates bearing precious metals precipitated in the process of cementation on current-carrying fiber material. SUBSTANCE: precipitate is processed with acid, washed out and melted. Prior to processing with acid the precipitate is separated on layers of current-carrying fiber material, e.g. fleecy jersey fabric, sorted on colours and layers of material of different colours are subject to individual processing with acid. Then light (yellow) precipitate layers are subject to roasting and melting, and others are returned to cementation process. EFFECT: ingot of 99.69 per cent of gold. 2 cl, 1 tbl
