FIELD: extraction of noble metals by cementation. SUBSTANCE: method involves the passing of solution through a mixture of metal-cementing agent and carbon material. Metal-cementing agent is contacted with carbon material by mixing or in layers disposing at the mass ratio metal-reductant and carbon material 1: 0.1-1.0. Consumption of metal-cementing agent is 0.5-5 g per 1 g noble metals in solution. Fleecy jersey fabric (fibrous material), grainy active coals (coke, graphite) are preferably used as carbon materials. Method ensures to extract noble metals from solutions up to residual concentrations below the level of their analytical detection. EFFECT: enhanced extraction degree, diminished cementing agent consumption. 5 cl, 8 tbl
