FIELD: oil producing industry; pumping-out of fluid with high content of gas. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of gas-fluid mixture to gas separator; increasing head of gas-fluid mixture and swirling of flow by means of blade impellers; separation of mixture in the field of centrifugal forces with subsequent withdrawal of gas to drill string-borehole annulus, and discharge of separated fluid by pump. Prior to separation of gas-fluid mixture bulbs of free gas are increased by developing self-ventilating super-cavities behind blades of blade impeller simultaneously with flow swirling, and gas in form of large bubbles is evacuated from super-cavities. Gas separator of centrifugal oil-well pump has blade impeller of supercavitating type and serves for enlarging bubbles of free gas. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 4 dwg
