FIELD: production of oil with associated petroleum gas.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of liquid-and-gas mixture to gas separator, increasing it head and twisting the flow, forced amalgamation of bubbles of free gas by forming gas super0caverns with the aid of bladed cavern forming wheel, separating the mixture in centrifugal force field created by revolving separating drum provided with fins, discharge of separated gas to annulus space and delivery of separated liquid to surface by means of submersible pump. Gas super-caverns are formed by break-off flow of bladed cavern-forming wheel at angles of attack of 25 to 40 deg. including forming of additional gas caverns behind fins of separating drum. Forming of gas caverns is intensified due to respective position of blades of bladed cavern-forming wheel relative to fins of revolving drum. Incidence angle of leading edge of blades of cavern-forming wheel ranges from 26 to 60 deg. and incidence angle of trailing edge ranges from 65 to 90 deg. Trailing edges of bladed of cavern-forming wheel are radially shifted relative to fins of revolving drum.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and extended field of application.
