FIELD: medicine, particularly, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in determining content of iron and zinc in blood serum by nuclear absorption method. Whenever content of iron and zinc in blood serum drops 1.9 times minimum, stable stenocardia is diagnosed. If content of iron decreases at least 2.2 times and that of zinc falls at least four times, as compared with content of these microelements in group of controls, unstable stenocardia is diagnosed. EFFECT: prompt and simple method, no chemical reagents of foreign makes are required plus possibility of timely selecting adequate therapy. 2 tbl
