FIELD: medicine, cardiology, general pathology, clinical pathophysiology. SUBSTANCE: patient's blood plasma diluted with a standard buffer solution at 1:20 - 1:50 ratio is oxidized with an aqueous solution CuSO45H2O at 10-20 mcM CuSO4 concentration, after 4- and 24-h-long incubation at 37 C one should register the available quantity of products reacting with thiobarbituric acid on conversion to 1 ml undiluted plasma and at values being 70 nM/ml and 100 nM/ml higher it is possible to conclude on high risk of complicated ICD flow and necessity for additional antioxidant therapy. The method provides differentiated approach for therapy in ICD-patients, detects functional classes of stenocardia as one of the profound risk factors of complicated ICD-flow.
