FIELD: load handling device; railway cars. SUBSTANCE: hatch closure has turnable cover 1 with lover 2 mounted on hatch coaming 14 and kinematically coupled with drive cylinder 8. Lever 2 has slot tilted forward in closed position of cover 1 and intersecting with axis of cover turning. Slot is extension of lever axis. Rod 5 of drive cylinder 8 is connected with lever 2 of cover 1 by coupling 17 coaxial with rod 5. Drive cylinder 8 is mounted at closed position of cover 1 with clearance "c" between end faces of piston 7 and cylinder 8 pointed to lever 2 of cover 1. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
