FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly to hatch cover closures of vessel freight rooms. Marine freight compartment hatchway cover equipped with crane 5 with gear 11 is equipped with panels 9 and support beams 10. Each of panels 9 is hinged on longitudinal coaming hatch, and ends of beams 10 are kept at sills with possibility of their relative displacement along length of cargo space. Panel 9 turn about its axis of rotation and movement of beams 10 along length of cargo space are performed by means of lever type mechanism 11. Said mechanism comprises worm gear, wherein lever is rigidly connected with worm wheel.
EFFECT: invention enables enhanced hatchway closing cargo space of ship equipped with crane.
