FIELD: aviation engineering. SUBSTANCE: in aeroplane landing process at levelling altitude low reverse of thrust is engaged with engines operating in idle mode. In instant of aeroplane touching runway engines operating mode is being increased to reverse maximum. Simultaneously landing configuration of wing is being changed to taking off (flying) one. As aeroplane achieves running speed, at which reversing gasses entering engines is marked, operating mode of reversing engines is being decreased to idle one and the mode is used until aeroplane running speed equals to aeroplane taxing speed. After that thrust reverse is disengaged. EFFECT: method allows to decrease aeroplane running distance during landing, excludes reversing gasses streams and undesirable pieces entering engines.
