FIELD: protective compositions. SUBSTANCE: composition has, %: mixture of alkyd and melaminoformaldehyde resins at the mass ratio 1:(0.2-0.8) (as dry matter) 1.1-5.4; epoxide diane resin 1.5-4.0; addition - a mixture of polyamide and alkyd-urethan resins at the ratio 1:(1-2) 2.5-8.2; pigment 0.03-2.00; formic or acetic acid 0.1-1.0; organic solvent 2.1-9.0, and water - the rest. Mixture of alkyd and melaminoformaldehyde resin is added to addition, then - epoxide diane resin, calculated quantity of formic or acetic acid and then at the constant stirring water is added. Properties: water resistance is 3000 h, salt resistance in 3% NaCl is 1300 h, gasoline resistance is 8760 h. Composition is used as protective coating. EFFECT: enhanced quality of composition. 2 tbl
