FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: piston machine has housing provided with at least two cylinders interconnected with a by-pass passage. Pistons, which move toward each other, are received in the cylinders. Two triangle members are pivotally connected to the eccentric pin of the crankshaft trough the first tops. The pistons are provided with rods pivotally connected with the second arms of the triangle members. The piston machine is provided with the first and second levers, arms of which are pivotally coupled with the third tops of the triangle members. The third top of one of the triangle members is kinematically connected to the mechanism for changing the working volume made as an axle of rocking of one of the levers. The axle is mounted for movement. The cylinders are arranged over a [-shaped line. The rods of the pistons have different lengths. One of the cylinders is provided with a combustion engine for providing operation on cycle of internal combustion engine. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
