FIELD: meteorology. SUBSTANCE: field of wind is measured when defining parameters of trajectory of tropical cyclone. Field of wind is used for determining position of zones with maximal retard and maximal value of tangential component of vortex rotation. Both zones or one of them is selected as zones of influence onto convective streams in cloud system of tropical cyclone. Influence is performed by artificial dissociation or regeneration of convective streams, as a result, cyclone is directed along safety route.
