FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed method comprises measuring the oscillation frequency of heat input caused by overall water heating on the surface of an ocean with an abnormally high water temperature of 26-28°C; determining external resonance conditions and seeding the air-steam layer near the water with condensed particles of an optimum diameter; the diameter is calculated according to a formula used in rocket science to combat vibratory combustion for extinguishing vibrations according to laws of acoustics. The method also comprises placing technical devices which connect the air region over water with a different temperature in the area of origin of a cyclone with an abnormally high temperature of the surface of the ocean. The method also comprises generating regular heat wave pulses with relatively low amplitude in said technical devices and in natural conditions.
EFFECT: preventing the catastrophic effect of tropical cyclones or significantly reducing the intensity level of tropical cyclones.
