FIELD: metal treatment by pressure. SUBSTANCE: thread-rolling head has body with tail-end, gear wheels, mounted on eccentric shafts roll-thread rollers and mechanism of switching off. Mechanism of switching off has switching off ring, switching off cylinder and pins, mounted in profile grooves in body and tail-end. Groove in tail-end is made in the form of two helical branches. Mathematical dependance of connection of first branch helical surface inclination angle with increment of radius of treatment. EFFECT: thread-rolling head is used in metal treatment by pressure. 2 dwg
