FIELD: plastic metal working, namely, machines for knurling thread on parts of steels and alloys. SUBSTANCE: head includes body, front and back covers, pressure rollers, knurling rollers mounted on eccentric axles inclined relative to knurling axis and jointly secured to said front and back covers. Head is provided with holder embracing body and mounted with possibility of axial motion relative to said body. Said holder has helical grooves inclined by angle no more than 45 degrees and supporting said pressure rollers. Other variants of groove arrangement of said holder are given.
