FIELD: weld facilities. SUBSTANCE: device has an insulating case, the first and second welding electrodes and a welding transformer having a toroidal core, the multiloop primary winding and a single-turn secondary winding. The core has a transformer steel with fiber orientation. The primary winding has turns centrally coiled around the core. The secondary winding includes two conducting cantilever sections connected to the electrodes and a drive electrically connected with the two cantilever sections. One of the cantilever sections can have a carcass member for supporting the transformer. The device can be used for spot welding or rectilinear welding. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture. 9 cl, 10 dwg
