FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: catalytic neutralizer has housing constructed as metal shell having inlet and outlet branch pipes. A catalyzer made of precious metal applied on priming coating of aluminum oxide is received inside the housing. The priming coating is applied on the sublayer made of heat-resistance high-porosity open-cell material as cordierite, Nichrome, nonrusting steel, aluminum nickelide, and pure nickel having 88-95% porosity. EFFECT: decreased toxicity of exhaust. 2 cl, 4 dwg
