FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: supercharging pressure regulator has two by-pass valve. One of the valves is used for by-passing a portion of supercharging air from the outlet of the compressor to the inlet of the turbine at intermediate regimes of operation of the engine. The other valve is used for limiting maximum pressure of supercharging by by-passing a portion of supercharging air to a discharging line. The control unit for the regulator is made up of double- sided and one-sided nozzles and spring-loaded gates which interact with them. The housing of the regulator is a cantilever which is used for its mounting on the engine and for commutation of pneumatic and hydraulic passages. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 4 dwg
