FIELD: chromatographic instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: detector has gas-discharge lamp with window made of material being transparent to ultraviolet radiation, ionization chamber provided with couplings for introducing and emanating gas. Case of the chamber is made of alternating annular members of metal and inert electroinsulation material. Internal channel formed by annular elements has to be working space of the chamber. Metal elements serve as polarizing and collecting electrodes. Diameter of output window of ionization chamber and internal diameter of metal annular element being close to the window are made to be larger than internal diameters of the rest annular elements if radial structure of the field is provided in ionization chamber. Internal channel of annular element made of inert electroinsulation material which is disposed between metal electrodes, may be made in form of truncated rotation cone. Larger base of the cone is turned to window of UV lamp. Cone member may be disposed in cone channel. Cone element is made of material being transparent to UV radiation and has axial channel for gas to be tested. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 2 cl, 2 cl, 3 dwg
