FIELD: seismic prospecting. SUBSTANCE: waves are registered by four geophones at least. Three of them are disposed along X and Y axes of coordinate system at distance A from the center of the system. The fourth geophone is placed at the center of the system which is matched with probing signal irradiator. Conditional coordinates of the object are determined according to time of arrival of waves in geophones disposed along X and Y axes and distance A achieved. Then the coordinates are recalculated into absolute values. Amplitudes of waves are summed from objects which have identical coordinates. They are displayed at plotter in combination with local rates of propagations of waves in form of cross-sections of the parameters. EFFECT: improved precision. 1 dwg
