FIELD: traffic lights. SUBSTANCE: diverging lens has on its concave surface elementary lenses disposed in parallel rows. Each lens has at least two interconnected surfaces, one of which to be axial symmetric, for example, may be made as part of a spherical surface, and the other one has a shape of a bell. Additional cylindrical surface may be disposed between the surfaces. This shape of the lens provides optimal angles of light dissipation. Punch for making diverging lens may be made by means of electro-erosion treatment by means of two graphite electrodes. Parts of surface of diverging lens being mutually complementary are made onto each electrode by milling, for example, by means of form milling cutter or ball-shaped cutter. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation. 7 cl, 9 dwg
