FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: diffusing filter is made of translucent material and has surface comprising assemblage of elemental diffusers coming in the form of recesses in it and possessing outlines of polygons and triangles. Its another surface is convex. Recesses are arranged in parallel rows and sides of polygons and triangles are conjugate with formation of three nets of lines placed in parallel. Mentioned-above nets are located at angle of 60 or 120 degrees to one another. Outlines of polygons can come in the form of hexagons, tetragons. Recesses can have geometrically regular or irregular forms, pyramids included. Surfaces of walls of elemental diffusers deepen smoothly or stepwise into material of diffusing filter. EFFECT: improved uniformity of light diffusion by way of even filling of surface of diffusing filter with isotropic elements for refraction of light, reduced labor input and good adaptability to manufacture. 5 cl, 3 dwg
