FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes exposing autoascitic liquid to helium-neon laser radiation directly before reinfusion. Power of laser pencil of rays amounts to 15 MW, wavelength is equal to about 0.63 mcm, diameter of pencil of rays is about 0.5 cm, and diameter of irradiated surface of ascitic liquid accounts for 6 cm. Disclosed method further prescribes continuously scanning laser pencil at rate of 0.55 to 0.65 cm/s across surface of ascitic liquid in order to uniformly irradiating entire surface. Total irradiation time totals 15 min. Optimum exposure time was selected by experiment. Maximum effect is attainable if exposure time is about 15 min. EFFECT: preservation of protein balance in patient's organism owing to return of ascitic liquid to blood channel, stabilization of immunologic status and amelioration of rheological properties of blood.
