FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is provided with an adsorber having a cover with the connecting pipe. A cylindrical pipe is received coaxially in the connecting pipe. The cylindrical pipe is made of fuel-tight material. The free end of the pipe and the bottom of a housing define a ring gap. The second cylindrical pipe with the diameter being grater than the diameter of the pipe mounted in the top cover can be mounted at the bottom part of the housing. The internal space of the adsorber is filled with water absorbing material. The adsorber is connected to the fuel supply system when water in the form of continuous flow or fine dispersed phase is detected in the fuel pipe line.
