FIELD: automatics. SUBSTANCE: system has screened capacity pickup 1. The pickup connects two pairs of electrodes. A dielectric is applied to the sides of the electrodes. Controllable inductive coil 16 is connected to the capacity pickup in parallel. The coil defines successive vibration loop together with the capacity. When fresh fuel or fuel with permissible water concentration flow through the capacity pickup, the vibration loop is not at resonance. When water concentration in the flowing fuel is at the vicinity of the permissible value, the housing is at resonance and, hence, the voltage on the capacitor pickup increases. The voltage is fed from the capacity pickup 1 to the input of the logical expander through amplifier 17. The winding 20 of solenoid valves 19 is connected with the non-inversion output of the expander. In so doing, the valve is closed to cut supply of the water-containing fuel to the engine. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 2 dwg
