FIELD: filtering equipment. SUBSTANCE: inertia thickener has housing with cover, cylindrical filtering member axially mounted within housing and made in the form of coiled cylindrical spring. Lower part of cylindrical filtering member is provided with conical shell with thickened fraction discharge branch pipe which is passed through housing bottom hole. Housing has cylindrical wall mounted within it. Discharge branch pipe is positioned for axial and radial displacement. Outer surface of conical shell is provided with liquid fraction discharge shield. Cylindrical spring has coil space regulator made in the form of tie-rod attached to conical shell along its central axis. Tie-rod is passed through housing cover and provided with adjusting nut.
