FIELD: agricultural production. SUBSTANCE: two-step inertia thickener uses casing 1 with tangential inlet-connection 5 and cover 2, cylindrical sieve 3 coaxially, placed inside the casing forming together with the casing liquid fraction chamber 4, taper shell 7 attached to the sieve which has outlet window 8 under which paddle centrifuge 9 is located, the centrifuge shaft is passed along the center line of sieve 3 and furnished with impeller 17; the cover is provided with coaxially secured annular shell 12 with impeller 10 located in it, and shaft 11 is provided with regulator 14 of open area of the taper shell outlet window. The cover has holes 6 through which liquid fraction chamber 4 communicates with the atmosphere. The window open area regulator is made as a taper member coaxially fitted on the shaft for fixing and axial movement, and the taper shell is perforated. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 3 dwg
