FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: container has steel casing, cover with fusible gate made from boric anhydride charge. Cover has pocket for charge. Insert with through openings is disposed within casing. Wall of each opening are covered with layer containing ferroborides or ferroborosilicide. Insert has cylindrical cavity disposed in its lower part and adapted for containing activator, which may be placed onto container bottom upon removal of cover. When container is heated, fusible gate seals cover and diffusion saturation through gaseous phase occurs. Boron and silicon, which are present in channel walls, diffuse into particle volume. EFFECT: improved quality of powder treated in container by elimination of adherence of particles of saturating medium to powder subjected to treatment. 2 cl, 3 dwg
