Abstract RU 2029821 C1

FIELD: construction of hydrotechnical facilities. SUBSTANCE: canal facing has concrete or reinforced concrete plates, laid on base so as to form longitudinal and transverse seams, and antifiltering members, upper part of every one of which is located in seam and lower part has width, that exceeds width of seam and is placed in pit of base so, that upper surface of lower part of each member adjoins lower surface of each plate. Bottom and slopes transverse seams have grooves 9, located in pits of base. Forming transverse seams butts of each bottom and slope plates have bulges 6 on their lower surfaces. Bulges 6 are reinforced by reinforcement 10 to increase strength of groove 9. Antifiltering members 8, made of elastic waterproof material, are located in grooves 9. Each member 8 lower part upper surface has pits, located on both sides of upper part, in which reinforced bulges 6 of plates are mounted. In the case, edges of groove 9 and upper surface of lower part of antifiltering member 8 adjoin lower surfaces of plates, that form transverse seam, and upper part of antifiltering member 8 is located in cavity of seam with capability to fill it. Groove 9 has crescent-shaped cross-section. Lower supporting surface of antifiltering member 8 is made cylindrical. One more peculiarity is the fact that edges of groove, that are engaged with plates, and surfaces of pits in antifiltering members are covered by antifriction composition. During temperature deformations of plates antifiltering member 8, being subjected to stretch and strain loadings, intensifies hermetical seal of facing and prevents weeds from shooting through transverse seam and so resistivity of facing to physical and biological destroying attacks is achieved.
